Illustration Friday: Opposites
This is my first time participating in illustration friday! I am excited.
I'm on a seasonal kick because I am creating seasonal-themed art at the moment. I originally felt that the two most clearly opposite holidays, in terms of general mood and theme, would have to be Christmas/Hannukah/Your mid-to-late December Holiday here, vs. Halloween. But on second thought, I went for the less obvious choice but one that worked just as well and maybe even a little better because of that. Also bunnies clearly go with Easter, but this was just a coincidence - the real irony is that bunnies are something I draw a LOT of so it was funny that Easter made it's way into one of my bunny illos (first time, yes).
I also like that the Easter Bunny looks a little pissed off, kind of like he thinks the Ghost is trying to steal his holiday thunder, but the little Ghost looks so sweet and friendly.
Hope you enjoy.
