New work in the pipeline

Hello there! I am really just posting tonight to tell you that no, I did not fall out of a tree (but thank you for your concern!) I am doing very well and working hard, and I am back at doing more pet portraits!

I just completed my first in quite a while. It's a portrait of an adorable mystery dog. I can't give anything away because the portrait is a very special gift for a special person...but I will tease you here, with a tiny thumbnail of the final portrait.

Here is a list of some of my upcoming pet portraits, which you will be able to see stages of, and read about the process of, right here in my blog in the upcoming months:

Emmett, (a Chow mixed breed)
Annie
(a Maltese)
Nemo
(a Poodle-Pomeranian mix) & Sky, a (Fox Terrier)

Ah! I know that ear anywhere! It's a papillon! Am I right, huh, huh?

Kathy, although I have been on your site several times, after seeing your work, well- everywhere, and most recently on the fabulous merryvaluation on pamperedpuppy.com, I just now came upon your blog through Rebecca Art Paw through Linda O'Neill, if THAT makes any sense at all.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I love your work (!!) and your pugs are just adorable!

Here is my favorite shot of a puggy friend of mine named Willa- a very grumpy old lady who only lets you touch her if food is involved, lol: http://cowbellyproofs.smugmug.com/popular/5/3969349

Keep up the awesome work and I will keep your blog bookmarked!

Hi Jamie!
Thanks so much for the introduction! It's very nice to meet you!
It's actually a chihuahua...with very furry ears. A long-haired chih!! Easily mistaken for a Papillon just by looking at the ear!

THANK YOU for the positive feedback! I truly appreciate it and am very flattered, especially because it is coming from a fellow pet portraitist. Love your portraits. You have a very unique perspective. Very nice!!
