Are you ready for summer?

I love love love the ocean, the beach, and sea life. Around this time of year, I start thinking about the beach. I find that just being on the beach, near the ocean, searching for sea glass, shells, or any kind of hidden treasure is such an inspiring, reinvigorating way to spend some time It's like refilling the creative gas tank. The vastness of the ocean is unending -- to me, it's like another universe in there. It's not my world to live in, but I do love to visit. I've always felt a connection to the sea.

I don't go as much as I would like to, really. Truth be told, I like to stay out of the sun for the most part. I am fair-skinned, and skin cancer runs in my family so I have to be extra-careful. These days, I take it pretty seriously.

These new pieces are showing where my head's been at, literally. They are original ACEO's and they are now my Etsy shop. I am continuing exploring this subject matter, so you will probably see more beachy stuff pretty soon. I hope you enjoy!

ahh the beach I will be there this weekend!! We are always there and love it!! You could easily go if you use this great sunblock by Lorel which you can find in Sephora. It protects from both types of rays and is about 30.00 which is not too bad. I use it all the time.

Thanks for the comment about those losers over at D*S* well if you do not want to make money and remain hip go right ahead!!

By the way nice Illustrations!!!
