*double sigh*

Mary Englebreit's Home Companion magazine is shopping for a new home of it's own. The fabulous art lifestyle magazine is ceasing publication under it's current publisher and is shopping for a new one. Here is the press release in black and white (and...umm... cherry.)
Hope you find a new home real soon, MEHC!!

EDITED TO ADD: I first heard about this news while reading Carol Eldridge's blog -- someone mentioned this in the comments of a post -- just wanted to give props to Carol and her reader for 'breaking the news'!

Oh my! I've LOVED opening my mailbox to see Mary's creations and finds for YEARS! I just don't know what I'd do without them! Thanks for letting me know!

hi Kathy-

Sad news about the magazine, but I think it is the sign of the times. I heard that Linens and things just went out of business as well, so things are not that great with the economy. Hopefully things with improve soon!

hope all is well...

best,
carol
