Still here

I'm still here.

I check my blog every day to see if I made a new post. It's been so long, I think... this girl really needs to get on the stick. This blog is getting dusty.

Then I remember "OH YEAH... IT'S MY BLOG".

Life is slowly returning to a new kind of normal now. I am not even remotely there with finding a regular schedule for freelance and other art projects. But I DID turn on my computer in my studio today. And I AM contemplating restarting some goal-oriented projects I was busily working on before my mom had her stroke. So you could say I am definitely making some progress on making some progress.

Here is one of the many drawings I made while in the hospital the first week after my mother's stroke.

Haha! This was funny, and this sort of remind me of myself. At least you update this blog, more than me ;)

I am stopping by that I am surviving my blog! And celebrating my Birthday tomorrow, and my blog anniversary by doing a free fruity raffle!
You are everyone can stop by and participate!

Take care Kathy.
Sending hug and love,
Marjorie

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's stroke. I saw the blog you set up for her. What a wonderful thing to do!

My mom had a stroke six years ago. She is 73 now and is doing well. It's amazing how the brain can recover. It took time though. Be patient. I know it's not easy to see your once energetic mom go through this.

Sending healing thoughts to you and your mom.
Take care.

Thanks everyone for the realy kind and genuine words. Ann Marie, your words really are very encouraging. There are many ups and downs and it's such unchartered territory - I really appreciate your comments. :)
